About Jabulani
In April 1998, drew Tom and Ruth Dufke go.
They had sold their house and were together with their two dogs, Sasha and Ricko on their way to Zambia in Africa. Besides their dogs, they had a vision. A vision to establish a home for orphans in Zambia.
One of the basic elements of the vision was to create an orphanage, where Zambian widows took care of orphaned Zambian children. Another basic element was that the orphanage was financially able to bear a production of wood from a sawmill. The vision would be realized in one of Zambia's poorest areas by Kaniki north of Ndola.
